Periodontal disease signs
Bad breath (halitosis) is often an indication, as well as other signs including recessive gums, swollen gumsy, their bleeding or denuding and loose teeth. Many people mistakenly think, that occassional gum bleeding during teeth cleaning is normal. But healthy gums do not bleed, their bleeding is often a sign of inflammation. In smokers this indication of bleeding is often missing, so this disease can proceed for a long while without any noticable signs.

Many people consider this disease to be genetic and inherited from their parents. This is a common mistake, the disease has completely different causes. In most cases it is an effect of unsatisfactory oral hygiene.

Early diagnostics of this disease is possible by measuring spots between gums and teeth by use of parodontal sonde.

With these indications it is necessary to submit to a complex dental examination and in the case this disease is diagnosed to start up the recommended healing.
