Bad breath
Bad breath can also signify a symptom of a disease. It can for example indicate disease of the stomach, lungs, liver or airways. In most cases it is caused by caries » or a gum disease ».
Gum disease affects the area where the tooth is attached. The initial cause is a bad cleaning technique. This leads to a deviation of an affected gum from the tooth, and subsequenlty accumulated bacteria and plaque that causes bad breath.
When this problem is present, a complex dental examination is necessary and recommended treatment to begin.
